Waterfront Wedding at Scarborough Bluffs | Sophia + James

For Sophia and James’ wedding, we embraced the tradition by incorporating delicate blue delphiniums and rich blue tweedia into their floral arrangements. These blooms, combined with soft white garden roses and lush greenery, created a beautiful and harmonious palette.

The large arrangements at the front of the aisle were not just a visual feast but also a nod to the couple’s love for textured, nature-inspired decor. Ferns and local ranunculus added depth and a touch of wild elegance, complementing the structured beauty of the delphiniums and roses.

The reception was equally stunning, featuring a series of intimate bud vases that echoed the ceremony’s theme. Each table was adorned with a mix of local blooms and seasonal greenery, punctuated with subtle hints of blue to tie everything together. The thoughtful touches extended to the venue’s decor, where blue accents were seamlessly integrated, adding a cohesive and sophisticated touch.

Incorporating blue into a wedding not only pays homage to tradition but also offers a unique way to personalize your celebration. Whether through vibrant blooms or delicate accents, the color blue can infuse your event with charm and meaning.

Sophia and James’ wedding was a testament to how thoughtful floral design can enhance a special day. By blending their personal preferences with seasonal elements and traditional symbols, we created a memorable and beautiful experience for them and their guests.
